Model Alex Rousset and I have been trying extremely hard the last couple weeks to meet up and collaborate on a shoot, but because of constant schedule conflicts, nothing really seemed to work out. Finally when we both had a day off, we planned on getting together and take a chance to shoot something grittier than usual. I was planning for her to make the drive down to Downtown and dress like a “hoodlum”. The morning of the shoot, we still had no idea where to meet or what even to wear. Both of us being so indecisive, Alex suggested that we would just reschedule and try for another day. I insisted that we do something today, so I hauled all my equipment up to her house and did an improvisatory shoot. It’s amazing the kind of shots you get when your not even trying.
